Your positions

Open Positions to see your book. Until a broker is connected, the page says Connect your broker and links to Settings → Security.

Reading a row

  • Each row is one position, with its Optimeter zone. Open a row for its detail: the Optimeter, the position's numbers and its exit.
  • Check where a number came from. A value marked SYNTHETIC is generated, not observed; one marked FALLBACK is a placeholder shown because the provider did not answer. Neither came from your account: do not trade on it.

Exiting before the long-term window clears

Until a position has been held 12 months and 1 day, its exit reads Exit now · STCG and states the short-term tax consequence before you confirm. Nothing blocks the exit; the statement is there so the choice is made knowingly.

Placing an order

Orders go through the trade ticket, which asks for a second, deliberate confirm before it sends. The ticket says which mode it is in: PAPER: no real order is sent. or LIVE: this sends a real order. Live trading is off unless the deployment has turned it on.
